I haven’t heard a scenario where Kane hasn’t been rough on a team’s locker room. Maybe he’s found a groove in Edmonton, but if the experiences out of ATL/WPG (Byfuglien), Buffalo and San Jose are at all accurate, that’s not a great fit. Players can change, I’ve heard that Marchand has been a lot more stable in the locker room, but if it’s true that Ottawa is looking at a possible move for Kubalik, that may be a better return depending on asking price.

I don't think i have ever heard of Marchand being a locker room problem.... He is an idiot on the ice to other teams but has been one of the leaders of that locker room for a long time now.

Evander is a whole other story. I wouldn't trust him on a team trying to build.

Honestly, I don't see much change coming to this team. E Kane is DEFINITELY not a good fit, he's too toxic. Internal line shifting could be on offer. This team has shown it can be strong, but we've been tested the past few games. Fully 50% of the roster is new, taking over the league like they did in the first several games is merely a pipe-dream....this team still needs to gel. I'd still say, at best, we'll be fighting for a WC slot at the end of the season.

No Marchand is terrible and Boston should definitely trade him for Michael Rasmussen.
