The lady at the start is my favourite part, although the rest is also solid.

This move could be interpreted in a number of ways.

Let's not overthink this.

It's all about moving Tavares to the wing.

From last blog because it's funny and I was stuck on my 3rd terrible conf. call of the day and didn't realize a new blog had been started.

Every winger can be a center, but not every winger is good at it.

Every center can play wing, but not every center likes it.

Giroux was drafted as a RW - Moved to centre after his draft year and played centre in the AHL, only played wing in his two first seasons in Philly, then was a centre until he was moved to wing again in his old age.

Messier was drafted as a LW - No idea. Sounds good he was drafted as a winger. Did he start his career for 7 years as a winger in the pros and then move to centre?

Henrik Zetterberg - He's also a unicorn because he's the only player to play 4th tier Swedish Hockey and make the NHL, let alone be a HHOFer.

Sebastian Aho - Played centre every international tournament and in thee U20 Finnish Leagues. Not being a C in the SM-Liiga as a 17 year old doesn't really matter. Entered the NHL as a centre

Joe Pavelski - San Jose moved all of their guys left/right/centre so this is a fair point. Couture also went from C to W, Marleau from C to W to C, Hertl from W to C. Seems like a tradition.

Kuznetsov - Always a centre. Playing wing as a 17-19 year old in the KHL doesn't mean anything when you play centre 100% of the time internationally and in the junior leagues at the same time.

Bryan Little (Atlanta needed him to play centre) - Sounds like the best bet here

Eric Fehr (and there's a debate on the thread if this is true or not). - I mean..c'mon

David Backes played centre for a bit. - So did Nick Foligno, 80 games of being a mediocre C means poop.

Jonathan Druin when Stamkos was out. - Lol. He also played C in the Q and was showing why he would be a bust as early on as then, ask Graham.

Jamie Benn - I can give this one, no idea

We also forgot PL Dubois who was drafted as winger, forced to be a centre, put to wing and is now a centre againish

To sum it up, it’s really hard to play centre in the nhl. We have one of the best and at least one of our fans stated that they would trade him for m. Tkachuk. Willy could play centre if he was so inclined, but I doubt that he would put in the work. Even McD, as great as he is, is an average centreman.
