I didn't watch a single Flyers' game last season (self-imposed boycott) but watched a handful of Pens+ games on ESPN+, and watched the playoffs.

What I found out was the I didn't miss it at all, and I'm a former STH who would change plans to make sure I was home for every game. Sports is the only reason I would ever get cable as opposed to a streaming package, so I'll probably get something for Steelers/Eagles season and if the Phillies make the playoffs and then drop it.

I was that guy for a while too. Once I kind of gave myself permission to not need to watch live I enjoyed it. Skip all the commercials and intermission and still watch all the action at my convenience and in an hour less.

Im getting tired of being expected to shell out more and more and more just to continue to receive things I already get. My income isnt going to go up commensurate to the increases. There has to be an end somewhere.
