That is actually correct. Flyers were "high" when they hired TortS for a cup 🥤 run. 🏃‍♂️ They should have been in a rebuild mode earlier, and hired a young pedagogical human builder.

Please enlighten us all why Torts is such an incredible coach when he’s still hanging his hat on the early part of his career and hasn’t done anything of relevance in over a decade with three different teams.

here's something to consider other than his early career Stanley cup:

how many coaches other than Torts would have gone into Columbus and turned that into a 45, 47 and 50 win team?
