Yeah.

They could even look at Jarry as maybe someone to pair with Levi. 2-3 year deal. He's only 28.

- J35Bacher

Right, it would be very poor asset management for them to trade for Carter Hart imo

Danny Briere is a wizard. He turned a first round pick and top d into future and present players. He needs to get the treatment Hextall failed to, and have the brass embrace the rebuild. Hex had this team close, look at 2020. If healthy and kept right, this can be done properly and the dread of the drought can end. High hopes for Philly.

Provorov and Babcock? Controversy City in Columbus.

LA clears the cap for Gavrikov,

That is why I think Ottawa is a top fit, contingent on them getting some picks, which could happen if they move Debrincat.

What 😂, Hexy had little to nothing to do with 2020. Briere made a good move, happy with it, but plenty of work to do. And you still have to hit on the picks….

Ottawa would certainly be a fit. I’m curious to see the Debrincat return, I think it won’t be as much as most think but maybe I’m wrong

How is Hart proven? You do realize Luukkonen is the same age?

Hart played in the playoffs once, did pretty well in front of a decent team and the last few years has been extremely inconsistent with injuries. That's ok he is still YOUNG, not an experienced veteran.

Take a break, let your thoughts cook a little longer in the oven.

They already have two goalies that can be one of the 1A/1B, they can go get a cam talbot or Freddie Andersen to pair with Levi or Luokko, they don’t need to pay premium for Hart. My post wasn’t about money, it was about paying assetts
- ClaudeFather

How are any of those options better than Hart? Luukonen's save percentage was .896 and Levi has started 7 games, not exactly what you're looking for in a Cup contending team. Anderson is not going to be signing a one or two year deal and not for less than the 5 million he got paid this year. Maybe Talbot, but again I don't think he's signing for less than two years.

Another team that needs a goalie......Pittsburgh. If they don't resign Jarry, would you deal with the devil if you could get 14?

Notice the question mark...looks like this ?

That's when someone who has any basis of an argument would then explain in detail their side.

OR

You could just say REALLY you should read my mind it's so obvious everyone knows so no explaining necessary....

Like I said, take a break let it cook longer. Come back when the timer dings.

Im pretty sure that they weren't too keen on Luukonen by the end of the season.

Cam plays well, I could see someone trading for him at the deadline, 1 year is not much, the Flyers could even hold some salary to make that extra year seem less of a concern. Cam can put up 25 goals/ 50 points, there should be a taker.

Goaloffson one for one?

Wtf are you talking about? Those are literally two examples I pulled quickly. There are options for them, and paying up for Hart shouldn’t be one of them. Cam talbot has had a better career than Hart by the way

Again, I didn't say your actual premise was wrong. I agree with you that Hart isn't their answer.

My post was strictly about the premise and that there are going to be options available. Hence the A cam talbot or Freddie Andersen. What are you even posting about man

When someone has to ask how Hart is proven there is no need to carry on the conversation. Who gives a phuck if he is the same age has the other buffalo goalie. One is a proven NHL commodity one isn't. Oh my bad they are the same age.

Take a walk.
