I’ve seen Danielsson at 7 same with Perrault. It’s crazy. - Sinisalo4vr
All I know is that I cant wait for the draft. After Bedard, Fantilli, Michkov, Carlsson, and Smith...who in my mind are the consensus top 5, the rankings are all over the place. There is no consensus after that, not even close.

The rankings are all over the place. Some players are ranked top ten in one, and in the 20's in others. I think they are going to get a real good player at 22. Im just excited that I can go back in and start looking at other players besides the guys ranked at the very top. And even then no one seems to agree. Guys like Sale, Cristall, Stramel, Danielsson....even Oliver Moore. They are all ranked all over the place. And one or more could and probably will be available at 22. Plus many others. - MBFlyerfan
Personally I try to stay away from rankings as a decision making point and base it more on whether I think the player has the skills/attributes to make the NHL and fill a role. There are many factors involved other than skill set that determine if they succeed in the NHL that I am not privy to such as character, work ethic, etc. Those are things good NHL teams focus on as well.
For me as of right now I actually like the following players in the #22 range:
Cristall
Barlow
Ritchie
Stenberg
Some of them may fall to the Flyers, but it depends on other teams too. Is it possible Reinbacher or SandinPellikka fall...maybe or maybe not. I mean Yager or Sale could fall, but maybe not. Either way having 2 1st rounds they need to find a player with a decent high ceiling, they can't play it safe on both.

I saw Sandin Pellika at 22 today. It’s laughable man. |

Looked at draft order, trying to see who could the flyers trade up with, seem Detroit, yotes, who knows, but it looks so much better for the Flyers now that they have 22 |

Buffalo is most definitely making a deal for an established starter. Zero chance they roll with Levi and UPL. They aren’t missing playoffs again because of goaltending. Hart fits perfectly in buffalo. Established… younger… only 2 years left on deal…. Perfect tandem with Levi if Levi stays up |

Interesting you brought up Yager, I like him too. Not much noise about him. That kid could really shoot the puck. I’m no hockey scout but he’s intriguing. Maybe he’s a “swing for the fences” type of guy. A new GM threw out that phrase the other day, forgot who said it. 22 might be too late for him, but like you said, it’s all over the place with projections. I’d like to see him fall to us. |

This is the most exciting draft that I can recall. It just seems well stocked and will have plenty of sleepers..
I think of Robertson in Dallas 😍
But my God what a draft they had that year. Hesky, Robertson and oettinger... that set them back into contention |

We have two picks in the first round and if it can be anything remotely 2003 like and we get the right kids, than we get better much sooner than later. |

From all that I have read it just seems like there will be sole diamonds in the rough and also some later round gems to be had this year.
If we hit on them then, like you said, we get better sooner |

Flyers have traditionally struck gold with the 22nd pick. Gagne and G. Anything close to either one of those players would bring joy to Mudville. |

yea, they hit on 7, 22 and Cutter, all of the sudden the team is headed in the right direction, 2 years to see the 3 play, 4-5 for their prime to start

If the Flyers had a guy at 5 that they are absolutely in love with…then maybe?
Hart, #7 to MTL
For #5, #31.

I also think guys like Foerster will come on…It’s a big year for Brink as well. I’d still like to see some more guys go and see if then can continue to add draft assets for this years draft. |

month ago you were saying the complete opposite an how Hart makes zero sense for buffalo

Right after you explain what you have against people who work in a deli.
So let me get this right. You look down on the people who both cut your meat and actually offer something to society and you believe spending days on end on hockeybuzz.com is a better way of life? Loose one account, just start another. - SuperSchennBros
what a wild imagination you have.
I pay more in taxes than you so my contribution to society is greater than yours.
What lunchmeat or cheese do you hate cutting the most?

Yes I would, maybe try to extract a late rd pick as well though not a deal breaker.
Roll with UPL and Erson/Cal. |
