also doesnt the 13/14th pick in this draft have more value than the RR trade draft? - hello it's me 2050
get what you are saying, that draft was said to not be deep at all, while this one is supposed to be.

i wouldn't trade him with the first included, but when was the last time a goalie fetched a higher first round pick? Hart is not a franchise goalie, at least not yet. - Peter Richards
The goalie market will shift with the wind. Aiden hill about to win cup. Hart is better. It depends on the team situation what a team will pay. Buffalo is absolutely stacked with assets. They are almost desperate to get an established goalie to combo with Levi. Personally I think they make their move before draft. Get on phone Danny and return the fleece of ghost past (Risto trade) |

was still a piss poor trade giving up what they did to acquire RR.
What contract is more movable right now today. RR or Sanheim?

So the consensus is this was a good trade? That's good to hear. I'm thankful for the flyers giving me some trade entertainment.
As an outsider, I think it was a good move. Shows where DB is headed. - Aaron_85
How’s Toronto fare ? My stance stays they won’t make playoffs next year. The goalie and d just not good enough. Buffalo and Ottawa coming for them |

don't disagree. i would say risto. less term/money. is what he is, but brings a physical element and has a blast from the point on the PP. if sanhiem has a better year then he would be.

I could see UPL and 2 2nd or a 2nd and 3rd.

They should be in the same ballpark in theory but we won't really know until years from now. |

if DB does, this could start to more look like the Rangers rebuild. At least with a lot of picks and prospects coming in. |

That means someone else gets pushed down. I was hoping that player was going to be Dvorsky so the Flyers don't have to make the decision on him. The one I feel is the most realistic one dropping out of the top 6 is Benson and I am ok selecting him. - Glak18
Haven't really seen too many people placing Dvorsky that high.
If Leonard goes high it's gonna be at the expense of Michkov, Smith and Benson.
Benson's such a complete talent and hard worker... if he were an inch or two taller he'd be consensus #3. |

Ummmm no they weren’t. And on top of it toronto overall team speed is lacking. Leafs had to try to slow down games to mask team speed, goalies, defense. And it kinda worked. The big 4 can only do so much. Pick your poison go balls out and try to outscore or try to slow game down. Either way buffalo and Ottawa only getting better. And will catch leafs and pass them next year. Toronto doesn’t have the means to fix their problems. They stupidly went high contracts on top 4. Not even 1 is a dman. They’re cooked. They benefitted from being in a lesser division. |

Should be listening on both him and Hart, they are the biggest assets right now. Given how streaky he is, I don't know if TK will match the year he had this year so time to sell high! |

WTF someone made the comment:
"I’m suddenly missing Chuck Fletcher"
Hopefully that's not a real Flyers fan or just another shallow woman that doesn't want him traded because he's a cutie pie.

I'm hoping the Flyers reap the benefits like Colorado, Dallas and Vancouver did in the 2017 draft.
I wish the Flyers were in a better position so there wasn't much guessing, but still in a pretty good position where others have to make the hard decision.

I think it happens. I like TK a lot, but maxmize value on a rebuild, he has to be moved this summer. |

Let’s bookmark this and see next year. Just a reminder, my response was to them not making playoffs. Their fourth overall finish would point to they were fine lmao 😂 what an idiotic post |

nothing to think about move him. I have to think at some point TK wants to win, unless the country club has got to him as well, so he wont re-sign. Dont take the risk and wait.

I could see UPL and 2 2nd or a 2nd and 3rd. - Peter Richards
That wouldn’t make sense for philly.
UPL is I think 24 and not shown he’s a nhl goalie but he’s still young and talented enough to be a teams top goalie prospect but even that window is starting to shut. Philly doesn’t need that. UPL ideally would go to a team with low end goalie prospects in system with aging vet on roster? So trading hart for a couple 2nds would be undervalue. Hart fetches a 1st and maybe more. 24 established 2 years left on deal still rfa after. Just off top of head edm tor buf ott sj maybe more looking for that. |

I'm starting to believe Carlsson may fall out of the top 5, which would be stunning.
