there were "highlights" for this game..? huh... I guess they can show the 3 canes goals, and a few nice saves from Montembeault, not a whole lot to highlight besides that lol.

running my neighbors out with my ac dc playlist turned up way too loud. enjoying a little bit of my self medication. waiting for the 1:00 game so i can lose a dollar.

i went 5-3 last night. so that's not bad. it was looking real, real bad for a few hours but then guys started scoring and things turned around.

i lost the over 5.5 on the habs game but i'll allow it because i do usually win when i bet the habs games. they've been good to me.

it's at 6 now, so it will probably be at 6.5 when they drop the puck. if they can go scoreless long enough for the number to drop i will take it and feel pretty good.

last night was awesome, all five 7:00 games went scoreless until the line dropped and then the 8:00 game did it too so i got to bet them all (i went 4-2 on those games).

ooh, it's starting at 5.5. weird. this makes it a little harder because the bookies seem to have a harder time dropping from 5.5 to 4.5 than they do from 6.5 to 5.5.

keeping my eye on it is part of the fun to me.

i don't even know how to bet nascar and i know betting baseball is super hard.

although i did once put in a 5 team baseball parlay for my buddy with a gambling problem on his site back when we all had to use offshore betting sites and it won him $1500.

he really needed the win because he was in such a hole. i played it off like it was no big deal but i knew it was 99% luck that won that bet.

yeah, it definitely isn't a game I'd choose to pay to go see at the Bell either, there's a poop ton of teams I'd prefer before them. unless it was guaranteed the habs would serve them a can of whoop-ass, but unfortunately there is no such thing...

damn, 1500$ is quite a win indeed, it sucks though when you need it to dig yourself out of your own financial hole, you don't really get to enjoy it all that much under those circumstances..

i didn't even get to the bad part. he eventually lost everything and was about to lose his house from losses at the casino. then he got legionnaires disease and died.

he was actually the nicest dude in the world. would, and did, do anything for anyone. just wasn't very good at looking after himself it turned out.

yeah. it sucked.

i knew him better than anyone. i knew everything about him, poop his wife didn't even know. we were like brothers for over 20 years. but he totally hid how bad the casino trips had gotten even from me. he was going in the middle of the night and missing whole days of work to go and poop like that.

it's an addiction like any other, i guess.
