truly just ones opinion over another. I will say, if I am the league today how do I coach the refs on making sure that doesn't happen again? I think it obvious, they will instruct them to make sure after a fight, players not involved not be in close proximity to the combatants. I think the same message will be delivered to the teams.

I think that argument can be made but there is sometimes when players are just going to do what they're going to do. Linesman are not going to physically overpower some players to keep them apart.

Has Lemieux played himself to be re signed on the 4th line? I see no benefit to any of the young players on the roster or in LV to fill 4th line roles. Lemieux would only get a 1 yr deal around vet minimum.

I don't need to see B Lemieux or Kiefer Bellows play anymore. They're just not good NHL players. No reason to bring either back next year. How many times did Lemieux fail to get a puck deep in the Sen's zone when he needed change last night? just brutal.

Despite Risto's power play bomb last night, I thought he was mediocre at best. What a terrible trade and signing.

Sandstrom certainly kept the Flyers in the game last night but that turnover in OT was unforgivable at the NHL level.

I actually like Hayes as a player but it's obvious he has completely checked out on this team. Hopefully moved in off season.

WTF has happened to Provy? he is a much better player than he's showing now. I gotta believe he's checked out too and will be gone in the off season.

I will say this as a Sens fan, what Kastelic did was stupid, no doubt, did not like It. What i also didnt like was lemieux smacking Pinto in the back of the head against the glass, then Seeler (not malicious or intent, but still happened) kept his knee out when Hammy dodged his hit resulting in another injury to our top 4 defense, he should have gotten a kneeing penalty at the least. Ottawa was pissed which caused the Watson response (yeah, it was charging all day). Keep in mind although Kastelic should have been penalized, Philly had 6 players on the ice during the scrum, which is an auto-ejection and penalty for whoever left the bench, so that would have squared things + losing someone for the game. The refs were absolute $hite and thats why the game got so chippy
