Commesso has really aged in his few years at Boston U
Might want to recheck that age.
He has played very well. |

The Canucks have been an interesting story this season as they started off the season with some absolute terrible luck, setting the record for most losses after having multi-goal leads.
That’s not luck, losing multiple goal leads is the sign of a bad team. |

I do recall a few of those games that it was terrible puck luck turning into fluke goals but you are correct they werent a very good team early on

Yeah, I am hoping besides Minnesota, it is Boston U and Michigan.
The Frozen Four will be at Amalie Arena in Tampa, with the national semifinals April 6 and the national championship game April 8.
I like seeing 19 Fantilli, 91 Nazar for Michigan, and 29 Commesso and #9 Ryan Greene
and non hawks at Minnesota in teh form of Arizona' Logan Cooley, Blues' Jimmy Snuggerud and Toronto's Matthew Knies
Commesso was allowed the luxury of a goal taken back in the game this week. The opposition simply kept pick forking under the pad, and it trickled in.
It was called back, not sure they call it back in NHl.
Commesso's down low a lot, and lots of net is exposed in my opinion.
Since CodyC. started shouting the praises of Ryan Greene, and he has excellent jump, stick, but so far he's lit the lamp 9 times as a Freshman, -it is tough to start trying to heap too much star dust on late second round players in their first year of college in a strong program like BU (or Michigan for that matter. He is vey fluid and good carrying and dishing, but we need scorers. He has the ti become mone.
Looking forward to the Michigan game because they has so many first yr players form the last draft besides Nazar...and Has a luxury in their depth to play different winds with different centers like Fantilli. |

Guess we are just going to ignore his 22 assist? 31 points in 37 for a Freshman, while not earth shattering is good production. He also centers their top line and is on the 1st PP unit in the games I watched. Also does some PK. Goal scorers need guys to get them the puck. At this point the Hawks need forwards and a lot of them. |

Really? Seems to me the Goalies all things considered, played pretty well this year.
I'm sure there are a few teams going to the playoffs that would like to have Stalock as at least a back up.
Watch Carolina depart again for poor to average goal tending. |

Edmonton would love to have Stalock. If Stalock was healthy around the time of the TDL, I'm sure he would have been dealt. |

Not terrible watching the guys compete under Richardson… any chance that we will not have to listen to Chris Vosters anymore after this season? Got Wiedeman on the radio and the games on mute these days |

Wideman and Stu Grimson would be a great combo in the TV booth. |

Nice blog, Zach. Thanks for it.
Was foolin around at Dobber's site and landed on the Hawk's organIzational depth chart page. Quick look at career stats all the way down to Pee Wee and some basic fancy stats. .... https://frozenpool.dobber...l_depthchart.php?team=CHI
Didn't realize 24 yr old Katchouk was that big, he's 6ft 2in 205lbs. Also scored 42 and 35 goals in the OHL and played in two WJC's for Canada. Some nice back class and size. Not sheltered that's for sure with only a 36% Ozone starts.
The fancies fooled me with Kaiser. The 20 yr old has a 71% Ozone starts and a 38% corsi and a 31% xGF. The eye test shows a player making plays in all 3 zones and very good decisions. ...... I do like LR looking to shelter, spot start and finding good spots for him so far on a really bad roster.
Thank you, Delia! VAN up 3-1 with 6:00 to go. |

I got to believe there are better ways for KD to spend $3 mil plus than giving it to Caleb Jones. I know we have plenty of cap space and his brother is on the team. But c’mon….. overpay for a bad forward. |

Agree. Didn't get to see last night either but like that Reichel has goals in B2B games. The games I have seen he looks more comfortable and I imagine he'll be up full time next season.
I like that some on here wanted to punt on him and were tabbing him the next Sakura before he'd even played 30 NHL games. |
