Out of the worst 7 teams in the league this year, its got to be either Philly or Montreal for Bedard. Anywhere else and I would pull a Lindros if I were him. - jd250
Yeah, he's going to pull a Lindros if he gets drafted by the Blackhawks, an original 6 team that would bring in as much income in endorsements as his ELC. |

Minnesota. Bedard likes the cold and Minny is the coldest state in the US. Kaprizov needs a skilled center.

It has to be Arizona! It will make it easier to have Bedard and Matthews bring the Yotes back to popularity and to the playoffs! Yes Austin Matthews will leave Toronto for the Yotes! |

I think the kid is great, but he is closer to Lafreniere/Hughes/Hischer than McDavid/McKinnon/Crosby/etc.
I am not much of a Matthews fan, but Matthews didn't have nearly as much hype as Bedard...and Matthews is a universe better than Bedard.
I'm not at all saying Bedard will be a bust, but he is certainly not going to be a generational talent like McDavid,Crosby, or McKinnon...not really close to those guys. - JLO961
I'm thinking more like Marner is the upside there. |

Yeah, or a kind of mix of Marner and Matthews. The kid can shoot!!! But he's small and shifty like Marner for sure.
So a mix of Matthews and Marner but not quite as good. |

"LITTLE GARY BETTMAN already has him going to Chicago! The NHL needs that original six TV market!!! As Tony Soprano use to say "for get about it" for the Blue Jackets, Coyotes, Ducks, Sharks, and Flyers along with other teams! Funny how a team for the past almost 2 years has been TANKING IT for this player, and "LITTLE GARY" has looked the other way while talking out of both sides of his mouth! Maybe "LITTLE GARY" can do something with his WHITE CANE REF'S. this has been the WORST YEAR in the history of officials in the NATIONAL GARBAGE LEAGUE! |

He’s the only player EVER to put up over 2.5ppg in the best/toughest Jr league in the world. It’s not a cakewalk like the ohl, SEL, KHL or American college. If you watch him play live you’ll understand why he’s generational. Makes something happen every shift and dominates from puckdrop to final buzzer.
Him becoming the leading scorer in Canada for world juniors should be another indication that his game will translate. Better than Mcdavid, Crosby, Tavares, Mackinnon, etc, etc at this point in their careers. |

The only expansion team to never get the #1 pick in the draft when they entered the league (Thanks to Bettman) needs to have a franchise player.. SAN JOSE SHARKS - Sharks77
I don't believe Vegas or Seattle received the #1 overall pick their expansion year.
But don't let fact get in the way. |

They had the lottery now. Also Vegas & Seattle got to pick players from every team unlike the Sharks who were stuck with Minnesota leftovers |

Complete joke if he ends up in Columbus, Anaheim, San Jose, or Arizona. Would love to see him in Chicago or Montreal. Dream would be with the Canucks! - deuce22
Yeah, where great players go an end a career. How many Cups does Vancouver have? Better chance in Anaheim. |
