I think there's a chance those last two games of the season will be meaningful.

The nail in the coffin, nice two wins to right outside the top 5

It will be Couterier who wants to get a few games in before the end of the season scoring the game winning goal in both.

Flyers headed in the right direction for draft position. Need to keep the momentum going. Need CHI to keep winning.

The reality is the Flyers will win more games down the stretch than Montreal, just looking at their respective schedules. Thus I think the Flyers at best will finish in the 6th spot, where the odds of dropping are much higher than moving up. It sucks to be a Flyers fan these days ...

I like how Buffalo put their team together.

They brought young talent in either by trade or by drafting. They also brought in some good vets to help lead the young kids.

It still a little early to see if the young goalie they got going tonight is a future #1, but i just like how the team is being built.

It’s also easy to be the young and upcoming team. Let’s see how they do next year with real expectations.

Agreed, I just like how they are letting the young guys form a team identity together.

I can't believe we're bottom five and Hawks are in our sights.
We really need to call up an echl goalie and go for bedard

They’ve acquired the young talent, good job there. Hopefully we can aquire some real good prospects. Hexy was horrid and not sure Fletcher squired anything top end either. What are our two best players, TK and York. Pathetic.

Just watched an episode of The Goldbergs TV series that aired this week. The episode is about the 1987 Flyers vs Oilers in the Stanley Cup Finals. Even if you're not a fan of the show, it's a pretty fun episode to watch.

It certainly helped them that they saw Fletcher coming a mile away and ripped him off for Risto. But patience with Tage Thompson, a good deal to move Eichel out, seems they are developing their talent properly. They are a little bit of experience and a few players and a goalie away from some pretty good things.

If selke is healthy I don’t see the issue w him playing. He has not played in forever and seriously doubt he’s gonna impact the tank.

If someone expressed concern about his health and maybe he should sit out till the fall, I get that. But, the flyers will def not rush him back. That much we know after listening to torts.

let ND play the whole game. Give Risto some center shifts. Braun to first line RW. Carter hart can only play facing the goal.

Aside from whatever rebuild Briere has in mind, part of his plan MUST be to internally and externally build an environment that will make Star free agents want to sign here eventually. A winning team with a chance is obvious, but the Flyers have to put their ducks in a row and make being a Flyer appealing. As to what that constitutes, I’m not sure, but make bo mistake, the players and the agents do. That should be part of Beiere’s many priorities.

One thing about Briere. He has experience playing in different markets and as a former player i would hope he gets this.
