Hopefully we can stay in the hunt till Pageau an Barzal are back. We should have 4 solid lines when they return.

Do people on this board really think Parise hasnt been one of the best recent additions to this team? He’s making near league minimum and has 16 goals this year. Plays his arse off every game. Yes, they should dump Bailey b4 next season but I’ve seen the same disdain on Zach as well, recently. You know he WANTED to be drafted by us but we passed?
Better late than never, I say. Sign him again if he still has the desire to play. He can retire anytime-he has more in the bank than any of the geniuses on this thread.

Bruv he's got an incentive based deal so league min with performance bonuses. I haven't seen anyone say he's been bad on here

I don’t think there’s been one person on here that’s ever been critical of Parise since we signed him.

Sign Parise to a cheap one year deal once again for 23-24 season.

Yeah he’s pretty much all around awesome imo. One of Lou’s best signings as far as I’m concerned.

You must have this thread mixed up with some other one. No one on here ever dumps on players, especially the old veterans. It was loved when Parise and Oalms were on on the first line with Barzal.

On a different topic Beau has found himself a nice fit in Vancouver. He has 6 goals and 5 assists in 13 games. Pretty impressive. Happy for the kid.

Entertaining to watch the Rangers spiral a bit since the Kane trade. I’m sure they’ll get their act together at some point and get some players back on the ice when they’re cap compliant but amusing none the less. Shesty isn’t looking so hot these days.

Happy for him as well. Also curious to see if he can keep it up.

Yup. I’d even give him two years if that’s what he wants.

The Rangers should be better with more time together. I just do not like their chances getting out of the East.

Beau looks like he needed a change of scenery. Let's see if he keeps it up.

Playoffs so who knows but unless opposing teams injuries start stacking up like last playoffs I agree.

Pretty high pace to keep up with. 65 point season pace.
Since the trade Horvat has 3 goals 8 points in 13 games. Great trade for both teams. Love what Bo brings other than scoring.

Would be great if they didn’t make it out of the first round

Anything can happen of course. If the Islanders can keep up this defensive play with Sorokin and with Barzal coming back, the Islanders could be a tough out and a very tough 1st round opponent.

This game on Tuesday is going to be huge. Buffalo has played well of late. I initially had no confidence of them maintaining it but it’s starting to look like it’s possible. I still think they fall off a bit due to their defense and goaltending.

Buffalo has been good lately. Tuesday is very important. With the Islanders, if they had a better 2nd line with adding Bo for the 1st, Islander would be an even bigger threat.

As for Parise, love the guy. Smart player who hustles every shift. Was snake bit at the beginning last year but no complaints. As for his salary, I think the Wild still pay him about 6 million a year , dont they?

Isles just need to win...bottomline and not worry about anyone else.

Looking at the schedule however, they can add separation with wins in the next three. I would project them to be more playoff style games given that 4 pts is on the line for each of them
