You won’t have to worry about playoff officiating if the isles continue to play like they are tonight. - streaks
Have to agree Streaks. There was no urgency in their game. They better f’ing wake up because they haven’t accomplished anything yet. |

Well, if they're going to lose it doesn't really matter how badly they lose. |

Fla and Winnipeg going to OT...a really bad day in the race for the Isles.

None of us thought it would be easy. We knew the math was against the Isles. |

I think the team really misses Koivula. |

We only beat the Caps in the playoffs. These games against them always scare me. |

Maybe we should replace Horvat with Koivula? |

Yep pretty much. It’s going to suck extra hard if they don’t squeak in though they’ve played well lately. Most likely too little too late unfortunately. |

So they have played well recently and stole the 2 points from the Pens. So I give them a pass tonight but they need to tighten up and play with a bit more urgency going forward. |

They almost had me believing. They still have a shot, but if they won this game I felt like controlled their own destiny.
I kind of expected this type of game tonight. The team can only go on a roll for so long. It looks like they will keep it interesting all the way to the last game. |

It's going to be close. The schedule favors them, in theory. Florida is really picking up steam. They lost in OT but totally dominated the game outshooting the Jets 48-27 |

I expected more tonight in all honesty just because it would’ve kept their chances more realistic. The effort wasn’t there. The way they came out in the first five mins it looked pretty good. After the caps tied it up the crowd went flat followed by the team. I never expected them to win every game from here on out but it’s disappointing to see them just fold and coast through 95% of the game. |

If it was going to happen to any team it would be to the NYJ.

Step one: grow old and obtain failing eyesight
Step two: commit a typo on 'outshooting' and have your stupid autocorrect change it to 'outscoring'
Step three: fail to proofread because (frank) it..you people know what I meant! |

The Canucks appear to be en route to a victory over the Senators, so that much is 'good'. (4-1) |

Couple of things that I noticed about last nights game. Islanders had a hard time penetrating the slot. Caps did a good job keeping the Isles on the perimeter.
Also, the powerplay last night seemed to me like they were looking for the perfect shot. All you are doing is giving the defense time to counter. One...maybe two pass and then shoot.
Lastly, the Caps were getting the front of Isles net way too easy and it killed them.
Gotta grab points on the west coast. grabbing 4 of 6 points against east is okay but they need to be better. Play is still to erratic. |
