I think Bear is more valuable to the team than a 4th. If they're able to dump Myers to Arizona in the summer, they will need him for that right side.

I don't know if it would cost to trade Myers? There was chatter teams were interested this TDL, no? Final year of a contract, little money owed... as we can tell form the Hronek trade, RHD get insane value lol

Plus, of all the 4/5/6 defensemen the Canucks have, Bear is the best of them. He's RHD, so I think there's a solid spot for him in the lineup.

Bear going to be qualified you think if he is traded? He's depth on a lot of playoff blue lines. Probably get him back in free agency.

I just think it's about risk/reward for traing Bear. Trade for a 4th? Meh. If someone wants him for a 2nd, I would do that personally. They need to get better in the goal differential, as they only sit at +103.
Only 21 games to try work on this.

Might need them to stick around in the very remote case that the Maple Leafs get past Tampa. I'm fine with them losing the Eastern conference final.
