Will the Canucks still have their first round pick at the end of the day? - NewYorkNuck
I personally don't care anymore, I have been so turned off from this team, the organization and the players, that I hope if they do still have it, that it ends up in the 10-16 spot.
This team is the classic case of doing the same things over and over, expecting different results, for as long back as I can remember.

I think literal pitchforks and torch's might be brought out. Too radical. (not the cool way)
Considering Canuck luck. The team will be too good to finish last, but not good enough still. The team will fall between 5 and 7 in draft position. (Kinda where we've drafted for a long while now) The draft is deep; everyone says.
My question is "Is there someone at 5,6 or 7 who can be injected into the lineup next year? OR Trade said pick to fix the team, as a trade chip?"
I just know its depressing being a Canucks fan at the moment.

Your habit of disagreeing with me and then repeating what I said gets a little confusing... since you are talking about getting things straight. - boonerbuck
Nighty reminds me of the guy that invented artificial banana flavoring and takes it to his bosses and says:

The legend of Ron Hextall strikes again in Pittsburgh....Granlund and now Bonino....Perhaps someone should remind him it's 2023 and not 2018. - claygolf83
Multiple picks for Miller was turned down by Vancouver.
Dreger reporting Pens took a hard run at JT Miller.
"Vancouver said we like the offer we just can't take it because it was draft picks. We need a center."

I get that, there's not much in the pipeline for centers... sucks because that would have been nice to get out from Miller. I wonder if they took that trade, if they couldn't have flipped multiple 1sts for another young center, or traded up in the draft somehow
St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the team has acquired forward Jakub Vrana from the Detroit Red Wings in exchange for forward Dylan McLaughlin and a seventh-round draft pick in 2025.

Seen how hard it is to come by centers, even less than ideal ones like Miller. That's why Miller even has value.

I think CBJ would be a perfect trade partner for Miller, they have 20M in cap space right now. They are also tanking so hard right now so they may want to do this in the summer

I could see them using some draft capital this year. Some lesser but still NHL players like Roslovic, Bean that are expiring at the end of the year.

Would love to trade with the BJs. They have a lot of young talent
