Wiz, I am a fan of Brindley. Watched him as a 16 yr old tender for the Tri City Storm, an excellent USHL organIzation, a couple yrs back. By mid season there were games kid was as good as anyone on the ice.
He's really skilled and has a high IQ but is small and not an explosive skater which might have NHL teams wonder if he translates to a good NHL player. ........ Where do you have him in your mock? - Mr Ricochet
In that group of players ranked between slots 25-40, currently at 26th overall.

They both are likely not on the team after the TDL but watching 2 greyhound puppies (too fast sometimes for their own coordination) on the same line (Lafferty and Athanaseu) is fun to watch. |

David Pagnotta of the fourth period did a story saying it would take a 2nd at least as a sweetener for another team to take Zaitzev's contract.
I think that would be an option for KD. I would love if they could get Formenton's contract, perhaps if the Hawks offered up Katchouk. So many options to maximize cap space to gain assets. I think of all the names offered up as trade bait, KD will get max return on Lafferty, a good return for McCabe, and I am struggling to see him finding takers for Toews and Kane |

How can you get good development if Stauber, Soderblom and Commesso each are signed and professional next season. Do you pass on not having a veteran to share the NHL net? |

Wasn't Fomenton involved in that WJC scandal. He didn't admit to anything, but unlike others, he didn't deny anything either. He's persona non grata.

I really don't know, but as some have said once there is a book on him he won't have the same success. Kid is calm and cool in net and may just be a winner. 3-0 off to a great start in a year we have trash in front of him. |

Jake McCabe is drawing steady interest from contenders. Signed for 2 more years after this season at a $4M AAV. Sense from sources around league is that the asking price from Blackhawks includes a 1st-RD pick. And if Hawks retain salary making him a $2M player, price increases... |

I agree. It is too bad AA does not have more hockey sense, vision, and consistency. IMHO Lafferty is the Hawks MVP this year. Brings it every night. Anyone they put with him seems to play better. He really opens up the ice for his linemates. PK. 53% on faceoffs. Energizes the team. He does not have the "antagonist" side of Shaw. But his effort, speed and skills are similar. They should hold out for a 2nd and maybe more for him (not a Hagel return, but....)
AA.... See you. A late round pick is ok.

It would make sense to take on Zaitsev’s contract but I think the Hawks stay away from Formenton. He was member of the Team Canadian junior team involved in the 2018 scandal. Many of the other players have commented (including Raddysh) but Formenton has not. The Sens have other prospects that would be worth it, maybe Boucher. If not, draft picks work well too. |

Yep. He is killing the tank.
Looking like he should be in the goalie mix going forward.

Didn't realize they were making these moves to sell the team.

I could not stand watching the Colliton teams. I do not mind watching this team most games. Stick tap to LR and KD. Just saying. |

Looks like Servalli is saying KD got max value for ADB considering his $10 mil. Qualifying offer.

Ramp up the Tank
Return for 19 & 88 - not great
They may shut Kane down after the trade deadline & extend him 2 years - 5 Mil Per |

NJ has a nice stable of prospects, it would be nice to get 1 of them at the TDL. McCabe (50%) retained + Mitchell for Holtz and a 1st. |

This is impossible. That would mean his contract is viewed as reasonable despite being granted by Stan.....
C'mon man! |
