Are you talking the 17 seconds that the Blackhawks scored on Boston in 2013 in the last minute of play to win the Stanley Cup on Boston ice? - paulr
You mean these 17 seconds?

Wow I was sure Kane was going to NYR iT seemed to be a perfect fit .If Toews and Kane are here after the trade deadline and walk for nothing KD needs to be relieved of his duties .I still believe there are deals to be made for both those players .I am still a little Shakey on KD being the man to lead this rebuild ,my pick would always be Mark Hunter . GO HAWKS lose one tonight in regulation! - oldduffman
Knowing Kane's competitiveness, I can see him now wanting to go to the Devils or the Hurricanes just to play the Rangers in the playoffs.

Why? They have NMC so KD has no authority to move them. Unless we are told otherwise (and Toews and Kane are here past the TDL) we have to assume they did not want to move. Plain and simple. - powerenforcer
Ya I guess your right . I was just venting a little . Been a long season was am hoping they get something worth while at the deadline . and start losing again . |

Yeah but they aren't going to pay the price either based on what Hawks were reporting to want for Kane. Hawks wanted to cash in big time on moving Kane that's why Rangers passed. Market has been set a late first and B prospect is all they will get for Kane |

It is what it is. A third first round pick is not a bad consolation prize.

Kane and Toews clearly want to be moved but Hawks will have to lower their asking price in a big way to move them. If they are both Hawks after the deadline probably speaks more to Hawks asking price then them wanting to finish the season as Hawks. |

If they clearly want to be moved wouldn't they have made that known to the GM by now? Isn't that why the Rangers got Tarasanko, because he said he clearly wanted to be moved?
Kane has the most powerful agent in hockey, if Kane definitely wanted to be a Ranger, Brisson would of made it happen.

I'm saying Paul Stastny has looked barely playable at times and Toews numbers are even worse. It's a pass. - BINGO!
Then you really haven't seen Toews play. |

With SO MANT teams still in the running for those wild card playoff spots, is it possible that a few of them actually traded for a Kane now while not "on board" point-wise?
It is the question I ask about the Sabres.
They certainly don't want to be seen as trading away the future, even (or especially) for Buffalo's own son.
So I would bet that most of teh youth currently on the roster are hands off in regards to trading them. The fans have endured many trades that they never wanted to see happening. Maybe just maybe, I see Quinn as the only possible guy they would consider off their roster.
I think I like Noah Östlund, a centre with the 2023 late first rounder (maybe it will be #20?)they have. I think their top two on Wheeler's list are hands off too. Jiri Kulich is already on the Rochester AHL team plays three forward positions and I am certain he plays in the NHL.
They probably like Matthew Savoie a lot too, so that is why I ask for Noah Östlund and the current #20 pick... |

Can’t imagine the worst defensive winger in the league who doesn’t score anymore would have much of a market. Especially at $10M - Newgod77
I guess your team's record has your chest puffed out.
You clear don't know what Kane still does....especailly since the Blackhawks intention is to help EAT that other team's part of the Cap hit all along. You gonna keep up!

NOT Me !
The Blackhawks easily could have asked for Doug favela or Bernie Parent and gotten them instead of Jack fricken Norris with Pit and Gilles... |

Listen to Kanes comments..he clearly wanted to be a Ranger...asking price was way too much. Agent doesnt set the asking price..Rangers werent going to wait for them to lower it. |

Even Kane admits he hasn't gone to the GM with a trade request and where he wanted to be traded to. He holds all the cards. If Kane didn't give the go ahead, doesn't matter what KD asked for, if he even got to the point of asking for anything.

More Kane: "In fairness to Kyle [Davidson], I haven't went to Kyle and said, 'I wanted to go here [or] I want to [stay]. I haven't gotten to any of that yet... I think within the next 10 days or so, we'll probably get a clearer picture of what's going to happen." |

My guess is Tarasenko was their preference over Kane. Even if Kane wanted to be a Ranger. They may have had a pecking order. |

Tarasenko was the Rangers first choice over Kane. It would have taken Kane’s ok, the Rangers interest, and an agreement on what is going the other way. Didn’t happen. |

Those would be them! - paulr
Coming up on 10 years ago and I still get chills. I wouldn't have wanted to have a hawks sweater on in Boston after that. And if I did I would have REALLY polite.

Don't buy it, they panicked after the Islanders move, in my world it would be great if the New Jersey ended up with Kane |

It really sounds like he doesn't want to leave. I bet being a father now has a lot to do with it
