Gibson has also really turned things around over the past few months - he has shown how dominant he can be in key situations. I think there might be a market for him now, even if it is not what it was.
I also thought Klingberg did a lot of good things last night, obviously motivated by beating his former team. I am not sure if a first is in the cards, but could he fetch a former first round pick from a contender? Maybe.
Unfortunately, we beat the Yotes and the Jackets recently. That does not help us get under them in the standings. GMPV needs to start making these trades now so that we have time to make up the ground we lost in the Bedard sweepstakes. |

Did any of you see what Dostal did last night in the AHL All-Star game? GMPV needs to move either Gibson or Stolarz to make room for this kid. If it is Stolarz who gets moved I believe Gibson will be more interested in a trade next year because I don't think he'd be too excited about being the back-up to Dostal. |
