he did.
was largely a throw in for the james neal deal and he really blossomed. made himself a bit of money - stayinthefnnet
I thought I remember when they got Niskanen, rumor was they had to get approval from Sid...it really looked like they hated each other.

Farabee was coming off a really strong season before he got his as well. Like very high ES scoring rate.
Think Frost is looking more at a Tippett/Sharangovich kind of contract. 2-years, $1.5-2M. - Tomahawk

No, it was in Black & White. Years after they put it in color. Only 3 seasons too, felt like a million episodes I watched. Blew my mind too. - Glak18
Actually only the first season was in b&w. The second and third where in color from the beginning.

I'm not complaining about a team friendly contract, but the Flyers don't have a track record of getting those types of bridges (minus Couturier which was a steal).

Wow! I really couldn’t believe the Muppet show wasn’t filmed in the mid to late 80’s. I can’t believe it. As a kid I thought that show was made for me! |

Frost has zero leverage. Even Chuck can't screw this one up.

I was thinking 2 year deal at 2.5-3 aav if he scores 15-20 this season.

Ugh it shouldn't bother me, but it does that Seattle is winning as much as they are.
I accepted Vegas might of gotten a few breaks with the rules and cashed in to build a cap strapped team with talent, but Seattle did not get those same breaks.
I just don't understand how an organization in one of the larger markets, money and resources can be shown up this much by teams starting WITH NOTHING.
I don't even like the Seattle team on paper, but winning is winning. Martin Jones? Yeah we know him, an ok backup, but that's a major reversal. Shows a crappy team can make any goaltender look horrid and vice versus. |

Doesn't seem like the Flyers have their legs tonight. Either that or they took the Hawks lightly. Flyers not generating a whole lot.
