Mayfield finally draws a penalty instead of committing one with 30 seconds left in the game down by three. |

Florida is losing to the Rags, so it was important for the Isles to lose in regulation, so as not to lose ground to the Cats. They didn't let us down.

In fact, with the regulation loss, the Isles have moved back into 11th place. |

I’m beginning to wonder if this team doesn’t realize that locking poop down in the 3rd only works if you have the lead. |

Yes. If they finish in 11th place, they have a 3% chance of drafting Bedard. |

And there's plenty of season left to suck even more and improve their odds. - JohnScammo
The climate has been unusually warm this winter. I think it has had a negative effect on the islanders game. I hope Lou gives these guys one more chance as a group to prove themselves next season. |

Let’s revisit that post from yesterday where you said they aren’t bad enough to have a legit shot at Bedard. |

Friedman is completely out of his mind if he thinks tarasenko, right now, is a good idea.

It's too late for a move like this. If Lou thought the two long playoffs runs were not a fluke, he needed to take action two years ago.

If this senile bastard moves our 1st for him I may lose it, this move was needed last year. This team is going to get healthy and put enough wins together to not get a good pick and stay mediocre forever. They are in hockey limbo, not good enough to win or bad enough to completely tear it down |

This was the off-season before last. Would’ve loved it. He would have been a great fit and helped our PP immensely imo. Two years too old. If anyone remembers St. Louis was rumored to have wanted Beauvillier but there was resistance from Lameriello with him being part of the trade. Of course we’ll never know but imagine if it’s true. |
