My prediction of a Canes victory by the score of 5 - 1 was close. - JohnScammo
Greater Aho with 3 goals, and the lesser Aho with 2 assists. |

I'm on the celebrity round of liquor tonight:
Casamigos - George Clooney
Dos Hombres- Bryan Cranston & Aaron Paul
The Isles play has me wanting something from Jim Jones |

The Islanders have jumped up to 11th place. They now have a 3% chance of drafting Bedard.
Let's make this happen, guys! |

It's funny, when I'm wearing shorts other guys with Achilles injuries will see the scar and try to talk to me about it. |

That was a brilliant pass Beauvillier made to Staal on the Canes second goal. |

I'm not routing against the isles but this draft is stacked and even if it's a 2% chance at getting Bedard I'm all in, the nhl could always ranger us to the top of the draft also the caps and Sabres are right there but have games in hand and philly is right there so keep it up boys |

I’ve changed my tune as far as whether this team is bad enough to have a legit shot at Bedard.

Incredible how bad the pp is and the second it expires we get two scoring chances - keaner17
4 games this week and the Islanders PP went 0 for 10 , terrible.

Sorokin, Pelech, Dobson, Romanov, JGP, Raty, Walhstrom, are what I would consider your untouchables.
Everything else could be had for the right price. Brock Nelson is a bubble keep at this point. He has been a good warrior and solid top 6 for the last few years. Something I never thought I would see from him. He might be able to get us a young talent on a playoff team that cannot quite crack lineup because of vets.
While I respect Lou and his loyalty. It was not the voice that has failed this team. Too many of the same player. The players counted on for scoring have failed.
Isles can bounce back quickly for next year provided they start the wheel in motion now. Also, they are not bad enough for a chance at Bedard. So, retool.
If the intent is keeping Barzal, then supply him with the two wingers he needs. Otherwise move him. Move him and restock the team with young talent.
Bailey, AB, Palmieri, have to go...Fasching has proven he can play a solid bottom 6 roll...Holmstrom I am still out on.
I would be okay if the Isles have Lee on the bottom 6 because after seeing him live. He does not belong on the top 6.
As far as coaching, I do not think that it is a problem. I willing to see what Lambert can do with two many years and some better talent. |

Very hard to root against the the Islanders, but no tears if they keep losing with this draft. The best thing at this point is to get the best possible pick. |

Islanders might as well trade Barzal if they will not surround with with the right talents.
Cannot blame Lou on Bailey, but the Palms, Cal, Martin contracts are not looking good. Lou's loyalty and not seeing this team needed more talent even with the two long playoffs runs have hurt.
It's tough to blame Lane at this point. He may or may not be the answer.

What is it that you love about JGP? Is it his lead hands or uncanny ability to finish?
