Here you go kid! 1st line!
Now, play against Marchand, Bergeron and Pastranik. No big deal.
Our organization really knows how to do it. |

Oh yea, I'm excited to see the kid. I'll be there tonight so that'll be nice. Just gotta be tough to go from the AHL to playing with Barzal against the best team in the NHL |

Would have rather he played against, I don’t know, the Canadians the other night but whatever. At least he’s up. |

Excited to see the kid play but it seems like an unusual game and player to throw him on a line with. From what little I know his skating is his biggest knock. |

He's not a very good skater. But if he can get open playing with two guys who overwhelmingly choose to pass instead of shoot...his shot may be a weapon that they an utilize.
I hope they stick him on the PP because, well...what the hell do they have to lose at this point? |

They would probably be better off throwing 5 defenseman out on the PP. |

For what? Because he didn’t want to skate around with a rainbow blade? Pierre Lebrun is calling him a bigot. It’s incredible what’s happening in this country and everyone is just following each other into this rabbit hole. You want to attack someone on social media for their opinion go ahead be an idiot but when you are directly trying to destroy them for it there’s a problem there. Seems like nobody has an understanding of that until it’s them they’re going after. |

Somehow the extremists got into power and they scream at everything. The other 95% don't want to be labeled by them so they conform. I have a Provorov autographed mini helmet as he played where my kid does. Nice guy too |

I can care less what someone does that makes them happy or whatever their lifestyle is. Whatever works. Most people have this same thought process regardless of whatever political demographic they fall in. The problem lies when you start ramming anything down someone’s throat and asking them to conform to whatever it is you believe in. That completely goes against everything this country is(was) about. It’s incredible that some don’t realize that. |

Pretty much none of the people I’ve seen complain about this didn’t know what an Ivan Provorov was until this morning. This whole thing is absurd. The guy lives in America, he shouldn’t HAVE TO do anything. It’s what should make America different from his home country. I’m all for people doing whatever it is in life that feels right and makes them happiest, but I’m also for people not being told what they have to or not have to do. I’m all for pride in whatever it is you are or what you believe in, but I’m also for free thought and expressing yourself…regardless of how I may feel about it. |

Well the NHL put out a tweet about a job fair being held in Fl. and who can attend tweeted this:
"Participants must be 18 years of age or older, based in the U.S., and identify as female, Black, Asian/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, and/or a person with a disability…"
I guess White men need not apply. Fighting discrimination with discrimination
Governor DeSantes gave them a taste of reality and the NHL took down the tweet and changed it to: "It is open to anyone over the age of 18 years of age."
This country better get its priorities straight! |

I don’t identify with any political party. I hate them all. I went to one of the most liberal colleges in the country, I’ve voted third party way more times than either D or R (I am a registered D, ftr) and as time goes on, I’ve now got a family, pay taxes all that poop, I choose to look at things objectively instead of “well, because I HAVE to.” It’s all bullpoop, and that’s what I want my kids to think. They should question everything.
All these issues that pop up every week, the stupid poop driven down our throats, the either you’re with us or against us mentality all distracts us from the real problem here. It’s not a 50/50 issue in this country, it’s a 99/1 issue in this country (in the world, really) and the longer we’re distracted from that fact, the further into the abyss we go.
And, yes, I’m a huge Network fan. Between that and Idiocracy we’re on that path. Arthur Jensen/Paddy Chayefsky was a smart man. |
