I would agree but you need to partners to dance with. The other cannot be a thief.

The question is how hard you try as well. Islanders never talked to JG and Lou’s own words he was not willing to make the moves to free up space and subtract some players. Unless you have top prospects knocking on the door, you have to be aggressive in adding talent if you want to win a Cup. The Islanders did not have top forward prospects ready to make an impact the last few years so Lou was wrong with his approach the last two offseasons and this is why the team has struggled. |

There is no way we have any shot at a top five pick in my opinion. My guess is Lou does nothing at the deadline and goes with the current team. Getting Palm, Pelech and to some degree Wahlstrom back in the lineup should give this team a good boost. I’m not saying I necessarily agree, it’s just my thought on his approach at the deadline. |

Unless something drastically changes soon, it would be another huge mistake not to be sellers this deadline.

I have a feeling we’re gonna be on the cusp and as a result Lou won’t do much. |

Bailey again on the 1st line. Rather try Nelson with Barzal and move JGP up to 2C and Casey 3C and stick Bailey as 4C.
