Flames are only 2pts up on MTL, they dominated the last time they played against MTL, Allen stole the game.

The slow and definite drop in the standings has started...let's hope team behind them start winning a few games also. If Florida can continue to struggle...that would be awesome also.

Monahan is injured and not playing, foot injury.

GM said decision is not made but IMO...if they can get a good prospect or a 1st and mid prospect...they will move him. Habs are a few years away from being good, by that time Monahan will be in his 30's. Love the guy, he is doing great this year but not the right timing IMO.

I can also add that Owen Beck (MTL) has been cut.

That really sucks about Monahan, I didn't know about the foot injury, he was a real good player for the Flames but doesn't seem to have any luck with injuries all the time.
