I was surprised there was no response. I have read or heard more than once that the team is supposed to be so tight. Guys basically all get along, etc. Not sure what happened on that play that there was no immediate response, unless no one saw it.

Yeah, not sure. It's been pointed out that they benched Bortuzzo for the final four minutes, but on a play like that I would have figured SOMEONE would have at least got in his face. This isn't his first cheapshot on an Isles player as I seem to recall him crosschecking the snot out of Brock a while back

I don't even care about the history - someone should have went after him just for the message. It didn't even have to be a serious fight.

They were lifeless, doesn’t look like the entire team has the same goals.

I see a lot of people tying the hate for the fisherman jersey to how bad the team did back then and that people now should just forget the past and move on. To a degree they're correct, however what about the people that hated it because they genuinely despised the fisherman logo itself? I fall into that category. The cartoon fisherman is an abomination. If they wanted to something fun for a third jersey, someone did a mock up with a lighthouse replacing the stan fischler look alike on the reverse retro scheme. MUCH better.

I am a traditional at heart. I am not one for change but I do not have an issue with the logo. All the aqua colors and waves I can do with out. But if the logo were place on a jersey with traditional color scheme. I would not have an issue. It is a third jersey, Third jerseys are meant to be unconventional.

I think the real issue everyone had was that the Ownership at one point was trying to change logo all together which I disagreed with.

It's a horrible logo. That's why I don't like it - no other reason.
