Just a horribly constructed team.

Fire Holland and clean out everyone. Scouts, front office all of it.

Sean,

Explain to me why Hamblin slots in on the third line? Which apparently is exciting to you? That lil puke 5’7” is going to turn this team around? Why do we have 2 Yamamoto’s? Why do the Oil have 5-6 forwards that all carbon copies of one another?

McLeod, RNH, Holloway, Foegele, Ryan, Shore, Yama, Hamblin, Jesse, etc.

None of these guys move any type of needle. They don’t create any energy on the ice.

Our entire top 6 D, is any team in the league scared of them? Doubt it

Well done Kenny H, well done indeed

Nanook take some valium and chill out. The team is above .500 and will turn things around. Let them some of the injury back and they will play at .600 until the trade deadline. With addition of a right handed d-man to move Barrie down to 3-pairing that will help out that side of the defence. Broberg is playing not bad and just needs more games on the left side. You try and play hockey games and play the same every game. That's impossible even for the pros.

You just named 9 very different players. Some of those names may not be producing but wide variety of skill sets, height, weight, etc. Blame Holland for many of these things including the bad D. But if you are the kind of person who thinks everyone needs to be 6”5 and 220 lbs in order to scare opponents you’re out to lunch or over the age of 60

They would need a new owner for that to happen.

Before all the injuries hit, the Oil were 7-6 hahaha. Top 6 dmen have been healthy all season, they’re softer than a tub of margarine.

Ceci top pairing….. still? Laughable

And let’s never say, “you try and play hockey” blah blah blah. These guys work 20hours/week, they should be bringing it every game. They continually get out worked night in night out. 51 shots against at home? To a “lesser” team than the mighty Oil?!

But but we’ll play .600 hockey until TDLD 🤣

Take the glasses off man. “Very different” hahaha. The team you half time blog for has zero sandpaper to them. The only player they have that plays a big game is Kane, who fell on our lap because 31 other teams wanted no part of.

Why does this team (especially home games) start with cement in their skates? Zero energy players. Zero momentum changing players.

You calling me 60 must make you 90…. Because you can’t see sh!t when viewing this Oiler team.

Imagine being in year 8 of McDavid and still just a bubble team. Right on Sean

A win against the worst team in the league with a bunch more PP goals?? Yeah I’m sure this one will set them straight.

Hey, at least they didn't lose it, or just barely eke it out. Kind of scary that they didn't have enough faith in Campbell to play that one though. Should have been the ideal game to build some confidence. Now they have to put him in against Min, or keep riding Skinner until he burns out.

They have had more playoff success than the Leafs have had during the Matthews era.... why dont you make your way over to a Leafs thread and enjoy some Autofellatio.

So the Leafs playoff success is the bar you’re working towards?

No thanks.

But for fun, Matthews has played 2 more playoff games than McDavid.

Since their draft years, Leafs have selected in the top 15 just once. Oilers, 4 times.

Being an Oiler fan, I can at least admit when we flat out suck. Who gets swept in back-2-back playoff? You don’t have to answer
