So how does a Boeser for Dumba trade make sense?! You create a hole on defense and get a player who doesn’t address the need for a center.
Boeser will do nothing to address the late game collapses. He’s poor defensively and plays with little passion or emotion and his foot speed is Reaves like.If you’ve watched VAN this year, Boeser has been deployed as a depth forward and Boudreau has planned scratching him. Just what the Wild need. Another depth forward phoning it in.His shooting % is down and he’s taking fewer shots. Boeser looks like the oldest 25 y/o in the league. He’s a poor fit for the Wild. |

Like your take Dan. Boeser is a possible thirty goal scorer. Injuries have piled up but he's just under a ppg. The Canucks have lost their way and are facing immense preasure from the fanbase. If it's Dumba going the other way I'm asking for a pick to go along with Boeser. |

There’s no scenario where the Canucks (currently out of a playoff spot) trade one of their top young assets for a few months of Dumba. A player that is a rental when they aren’t a playoff team, and a player that wouldn’t be worth Boeser even if they were.
It’s a nonsensical trade.
If Guerin wants Boeser he would likely have to give up his first and a top prospect. Then he can trade Dumba for a second round pick or a late first round pick. |

Faber, Lambos, Peart, Addison. Plenty of great young D coming up to learn from Brodin and Spurgeon.
Trade away Dumba while you can, pack in this season a little bit cause your roster sucks, and then start regrouping this summer for an aim at a cup in 2 years.

It’s ludicrous to think VAN is getting a 1st and a prospect for Boeser. The Wild would be crazy to take on a 6.65 Mil for 2 more years for a one dimensional sniper who is damaged goods since his injury. He’s never scored 30 goals. Boeser should bring a 3rd round pick from another team. He’s a salary dump.

He's not the top young asset you claim if Boudreau is benching him at this point in his career.
