Mitts, Krebs, Savoie, Kulich and Ostlund are all expendable for the right player.

It is unbelievable to me that so many people on this think the Sabres can trade Mitts for anyone. One proposed trade after the other has the other team taking him in exchange. Which team would want him. Stop dreaming. Please stop the less than intelligent trade proposals including him. At least one guy wants him part of a trade for Horvat. How can anyone pretend to believe that Vancouver would ever consider any trade that includes that AHL player unlesss they got Thompson in the same trade in exchange for arguably their best player. Please stop.

I made a very long winded change about the value of contracts being discounts now vs when signed as well. Jist of it is while I agree when the contract is signed varies, the forecast of the cap rising is also a factor when looking at deals
