Just having fun, really wanted to put Kulich where Olofsson is, but I know I am moving to fast. - Buff36

That's the fear. Might not be easy to move and you know they don't want to retain.

If the Sabres have 100 hits in a game and score 0 goals.
How do you win??

Crouse Krebs Jost, could that be a decent 3rd line? |

Hits are a piece to the puzzle of a winning gameplan.
Hits create opportunities, which increase your odds to win. |

Maybe by putting more fans in the seats
Us old folks remember Nolan first teams
Probably going to lose but you will pay the price
Not sure that would work now but hitting is still part of the game
Last 10 years I would of been full of nasty tough bangers who could scrap
At least people would of had something to cheer about |

Would love to see it, would be a good way to slot him in, start at RW, see if he can unseat Krebs at C |

I doubt they'll do it, with all the other F's coming. Could use a middle 6 vets for all these kids though. Numbers game is hard right now + Mitts/VO are supposed to be those vets.
KA needs a good hockey trade. Curious to see how he does in this next phase.

Yeah the nhl in 2022 isn’t remotely close to that anymore. It’s more pond hockey now that hitting.

Brock Boesers agent given permission to seek trade. - The_Inkwell
Does he fit the style, does he skate well enough. And that Contract is a bit heavy. I wouldn't give up much for him at this point. |

I read the comments under your CapFriendly post about trading for Murphy.
If Chicago values him that much, they can keep him.
I'd move on to another target. |

And that is great news in terms of players evaluations good and bad.
Mitts and VO just aren't good players for this team. Have also seen they need upgrades at D, two at least in Bryson (would be ok as 7th) and Fitz.
At least they are finding that out, along with the opposite end with Peterka, Cozens and Quinn. Powers is killing it, Samuelsson is foundational. Lyubushkin is ok as 3rd. Jost was a good pickup for 3rd /4th line duties.
They have found out quite a bit in a short period of time on the big club. Down on the farm they are seeing Rousek, Rosen and Kulich emerging nicely.
For an evaluation, growth and development perspective, I think they are meeting the objective. |

Just interesting that most of the guys they've been evaluating and need to move on from were signed to deals for one more year. Imagine they'd like another year in Roch for most of the prospects. Can they really kick the can and run this 4th line out again next year?
