We know it happens.
It's tough, you want to do what's best for your team, but if you piss off the other GM's by snagging guys on waivers that might hurt your team more in the long run. - Wetbandit1
Honestly. Who cares What trade are we making with Tampa anytime soon where they will be hurt by our waiver claim? |

rams screw 49ers

Rams also need a QB that isn’t a practice squad player |

Dallas who what’s OBJ badly, leaked that OBJ might not be ready until the Super Bowl.
Color me skeptical.
News like that always gets out for a reason - ImThatGuy
Could be to try & get his price down or scare other teams away
But who knows?
Could be true as well
It is kinda weird he’s not working out for anyone |

The offense clearly needs another weapon, for me it all depends on how much he is looking for. The fact that he is not working out for teams, yet looking for more than just this year is a bit odd to me. He couldn't be asking for a ton of money. I would sign him now and sit him until training camp to an incentive based deal though. - Stripes77
Idk that we “need” another weapon though
We paid Knox & hardly use him
We got Hines & don’t use him much on offense
McKenzie gets targets some games & some games is hardly part of the game plan
All those guys have made plenty of plays
We need to use them more though imo

Come on now. Stop being dumb. Baker is clearly better then the 2 QBs the rams have rolled out with the last few weeks |

That's on the offensive coordinator, and possibly Allen. I don't watch the all-22, but I find it hard to believe the only guy getting open is Diggs more than half the time.

The salary cap is real, you’re just able to kick the can down the road.
Eventually you have to pay the piper.
Look at the New Orleans Saints. - Pegullaville
Who were 100 million over the cap and cut no one?
The Saints have been in “cap hell” since signing Jarius Byrd, let that sink in. |

Restructure contracts and cap going up
No problem. Not saying sign obj. Just saying the bills will be fine cap wise |

Paying Tysom Hill $40 million for 4 years certainly didn't help either

Sure, but don't say the Bills don’t have some decisions. And some of those contracts have already been reworked. Always find money, just how much can kicking do you want to do. I would think Beane wants to keep this window open as long as he can. |

Yeah, i couldn’t tell ya the exact reasons
Obviously we aren’t in the meetings or practice, so who knows
But i think if we’d just use Knox & McKenzie more consistently then we’d be fine |

And they also went from Super Bowl contender to being pretty crappy & picking in the top10 bc of it |

I have no problem with putting the C on him. Cant put it on a kid as we saw what happened the last time,
he can be here 4 more years..... im sure there is a position on staff he can do - hubie
I think Cozens is oretty clearly the next captain. He'll be ready next season. Hell, you could put it on him today probably. |

Well, they lost their borderline HOF coach and their first ballot QB - Wetbandit1
They kicked the can down the road building around that said HOF QB.
The HOF coach then took the high road and said screw being in cap hell the next few years while I can go to the broadcast booth and be coaching Herbert or Murray in 12 months |

The Saints went all out on their Super Bowl window and deferred dead cap hits as long as they could to maximize that window.
Now they pay the price |

Right
But the point is that our window should be open longer, bc Allen isn’t 35
So while contracts can be restructured, we don’t want “the bill” to come due while we still have Allen as a capable Super Bowl winning Qb

Or their HOF QB retired, their HC decided to walk away and they for some reason thought Taysom Hill was going to be good.
None of those things due to the salary cap. |

Just like the Dallas Cowboys who were 25 mil over the cap going into this year. And now have 10 mil in cap space and are one of the best teams in the NFL?

Exactly. The Bills will be fine.
The bills will have decisions to make resigning players wise. But they will find money |
