Double edged sword. If a waiver wire 4C was an improvement because they didn't have a 4C, then you have to question what they were doing this summer. There was no reason to think Girgs is capable 4C.

This week is going to be interesting for the top 6. Obviously, teams can't keep letting the Cozens line run them over. They're going to have to try and get a better matchup against them. That should open some more favorable matchups for the top line and to a lesser extent the bottom two lines.

The adjustment from the league and then the Sabre reaction is always important to see.

Girgensons is absolutely the better line up decision, whether it's based on leadership off/on ice, salary or just flat out trying to win that night.
