That trade will always be full of stories. In terms of value, it's aging poorly. Tage taking that role and running with it is about as unexpected as it gets. Scary to think of where they'd be if he didn't. Imagine coming into the season with Cozens, Krebs, Mitts down the middle.

Miromanov is up with Vegas, but they have there top 6 locked up for atleast 2yrs. Korczak might not see the ice for 3yrs the way there set up. And even if they decided to move Martinez they have LD prospects that are ready.

Levi probably had the best season he will have at any level last year.

It will be almost impossible to replicate.

I said it from the beginning and I think it's still true that you're always going to lose a Jack Eichel trade because he's the best player in the deal. You just have to hope that the sum of the parts approximates the singular value of Eichel. We're several years away from that whole picture coming into focus. Tuch, Krebs, Ostlund and the 2nd might be better than Eichel and the 3rd. Still gonna take some time to sort out

Eichel is back to making his claim of being a top 5 player at his position in the league and Vegas is first in the West.

It didn’t work out here unfortunately, but he’s still one of the leagues best talents at its most important position.

Tuch, Krebs who I still believe in as a guy who is going to have a long NHL career, and Ostlund are nice players but I’d send these guys out in a heart beat for a player comparable in talent to Eichel
