Little late to get a read on Ullmark, no? I think Swayman's in net anyway. |

I like that, Sabres still indecisive on Ullmark, continuing to evaluate.

He'd have an .880 % with Buffalo's bottom pair. |

Lol I think it's honestly a legitimate conversation at this point which is hilarious when considering where we were 13.5 months ago |

A cop out answer, but both sides.

It's not a cop out a-tall. But it is hilarious that Ptage is actually in that conversation as a borderline elite 1C while reaching heights (no pun intended) that Eichel never did with the Sabres |

Buffalo should and would say NO
Not just talent, but contract and upside.
Eichels a bit injury prone too.
Not dressed tonight. |

He did the morning skate. Must be pretty bothered to not play in Boston. Even I have to
admit Jack always showed up for two teams: Toronto and Boston. |

That trade will always be full of stories. In terms of value, it's aging poorly. Tage taking that role and running with it is about as unexpected as it gets. Scary to think of where they'd be if he didn't. Imagine coming into the season with Cozens, Krebs, Mitts down the middle.

That contract might be the best in the league in 2 years.
All hail tall guy

Still gonna take a while to sort out the value in that trade. Tuch is 5 points behind Eichel this season, Ostlund is an unknown, the Sabres haven't even selected yet with the 2023 Vegas 2nd, and knowing the Sabres luck, the 2023 3rd they traded Vegas might end up being the best player of the bunch |

Philly taking it to Colorado. Interesting game. Looks like McKinnon's been knocked out of the game. Left in the 1st after taking a couple hits and a cross check. TK just blew someone up.
Colorado looks like theyre ready to fly back home. |

You hearing anything at all or are the holding the line. It is very interesting the offense this team is putting up and yet where they are in the standings.
I’m not calling for rushing anything, but a couple tweaks are certainly in order. I am also not holding my breath. |

Sure, you never know long term. If a late 2nd or 3rd pans out, I view that more as luck than trade value. If Tuch ends up being the best player they acquired, that's a loss in my book.
Tage does let everyone turn the page, which is nice.

I said it from the beginning and I think it's still true that you're always going to lose a Jack Eichel trade because he's the best player in the deal. You just have to hope that the sum of the parts approximates the singular value of Eichel. We're several years away from that whole picture coming into focus. Tuch, Krebs, Ostlund and the 2nd might be better than Eichel and the 3rd. Still gonna take some time to sort out
Neither side is running away with the W at this point |

Agreed. Funny that Oslund already gets lost in the shuffle a bit and gets overshadowed by Kulich. If they get a single top line player out of Rosen, Savoie, Ostlund, or Kulich, they are looking good.
