IMO, all this team is tweaks at this point. Trade for Top 4 d (chick-run) include Mitts or VO or hell both. Let Joker slide down to top 5, that makes or defense core so much better, making our goalies better.

Anderson already posts very respectable numbers behind our D. I think your faith the other goalies will somehow stop pucks that have been going by them for two years because of the bottom pair is misplaced. Until significant time and organizational resources are devoted to goalie (besides Ben Bishop of course) we will not get enough saves.

I would LOVE a new goalie but that is just not happening with Levi and Portillo in the pipe lines. so in order to try and not waste 4 goals a game you have to try to make the d as good as it can get with the goalies we have. GMKA is not going to trade for a goalie that has more then 2 years left on a contract. just taint gonna happen.

The black adidas goathead might be our best jersey ever. It’s too nice.

I didn’t like the “royal blue” update they made. It looks sterile. The original Sabres uniforms were much lighter. The sock stripes and shoulder patches need to look like they did.

I would say:

1.) 2008 Winter Classic jersey was the OG uniform at it’s perfection.
2.) Adidas goathead is close 2nd
3.) 40th anniversary jerseys

That's simply obtuse on Adams part. Portillo has been exposed without his allstar team in front of him, and he's not really a Sabre anyway. Levi had better be goalie Jesus. Oh, and he's not really a Sabre either yet. There's so much that can go wrong with Levi.

Right when all of our team is in championship window Adams plan is going to be to break in a rookie goalie. Ugh

We have the 2nd best scoring offense and we are wasting it with terrible goaltending bad bottom 4/5 Defensemen and a horrible 3rd line in Mittle-shat and VO.

Adam's was hoping that Comrie and UPL would be the tandem for the next year or two or three until Levi or Portillo (if he signs) arrive.

UPL's preferred development plan was interrupted by the injury to Comrie.
I would expect for him to remain steadfast in playing on with UPL and Anderson until Comrie comes back.
At that point...then UPL goes back down until after the TDL. I think we then see him come back up for a handful of games then.

The front office has a longer leash than fans do...right, wrong or indifferent.

Well, they de-cluttered the goathead logo and used a red outline instead of a silver one and it just pops.

The logo itself does look cleaner (I refuse to dignify Harrington's nickname for it), but I think the numbering and lettering in that color scheme is what really makes it great.

Really, is there anyone who has addressed this with you that has advocated for a team that concentrates on hitting alone. Where are you coming up with this? Hitting not a natural part of the game and one that is a necessary ELEMENT of the game. It is basic, hitting does not score goals but hitting people gets people off the puck so your team can take the puck and move it offensively to try to score goals. Plus, if you have a team that does not hit then the other teams try to intimidate you but beating you into the ice. Hitting does not win games in and of itself but it is an element that adds to a team's overall ability to get possession of the puck which in turn puts a team in a position to score and therefore win games.

What? So Kucherov Stamkos Cernak Sergachev don't cheap shot? And that's one team. The days of needing a Knuckle Dragger are gone, but having a player that can actually play and take care of business is still a good thing to have.

Girgensons hasn't scored since Nov 5th, and has 1 assist in that time. Are PK has been atrocious and he has had a plethora a chances to score, half the time he misses the net.

3rd pair may not play a lot, but they are expected to kill penalties. Same with the bottom 6, which lacks good PK as well.
