Still young at 25 years old.

Using the Murray system of wanting a guy to be elite at something ..... what is bryson even good at? There is nothing to his game i can see that says you belong here.

A position you'd like to upgrade? I know it's hard to get you to say those words, but I think that one is pretty clear.

My thing for me is he does things well you dont look for.
for example in the 3rd instead of chipping up the wall and turning the puck over he held the puck and started a transition out of the zone. Hes improving

I'm glad he had a nice 20 minutes that resulted in zero points. That's a positive for him.

Skinner on track for around 40 goals and 90 points. Still not worth it but not the albatross that he was with Krueger
- sabresfan69

Until I actually see the Skinner contract hold the Sabres back from something he's worth every penny for my entertainment. I just can't accept the fiction Jeff Skinner's $9 million means anything at all to a team so far under the cap again.

It doesn't, especially the way he's played the last couple years.

Bryson is the fastest skater on the Sabres by a wide margin. It's the only reason he sticks around. He's got wheels.

It would be great to have an above average goalie but I will take 2 5-6 NHL defenders before a goalie.

Pilut, Fitz and Bryson will crush the dreams of any goalie you put in front of them.

Bryson is a fantastic skater.
Decent at breaking out of the defensive zone.

Daft. Our 5-6 guys ideally play 12 minutes.

Ville Husso and Craig Anderson and we're a 6 - 8th seed playoff team who can score with anybody.

The Philadelphia Phillies, reigning National League champions, have agreed to terms on a massive contract with star free-agent shortstop Trea Turner, a source told ESPN's Jeff Passan on Monday, the first full day of Major League Baseball's Winter Meetings. Turner, a CAA client, attained an 11-year, $300 million contract, a source told ESPN's Kiley McDaniel.

Big money. Who owns the Phillies? They're going all in for sure.

I'd like a few upgrades. Goalie aside from the way Anderson's played in most of his starts.....

Tyson jost for asplund was a very good upgrade.

I look back and realize the Sabres finished 32nd about 110 games ago. Takes time to build a team.

Bryson isnt really going to play enough to make a huge difference.
There is always a fine line with younger defenseman, need them to play to evaluate their future, learning on the job = losses.

Probably a 7th d on a respectable team.

Tough to balance youth and development.

25 is still fairly young for an nhl defenseman IMO

I agree with this. He just isn’t good without the puck in his own zone.

Him and Fitzgerald suck in their own end

Krebs looked like an NHLer after being “demoted” to the 4th line that’s really our 3rd line.

Jost on the mitts line and they were actually able to get the puck out of our zone. Mitts and Olofsson needs to go.

UPL could have blown the game if they were playing any team but San Jose. He’s just not the answer.

The kids line is flying out there. They were so much fun to watch.

Get Power a partner, and go get a real goalie.

Said that all summer long

But to fair
He's played 89 professional games
Had double hip surgery

He goes down to early
Which brings the glove down
Typical butterfly
Is is fixable?
Does he have a future?
IDK
Let the kid play it out
But I like that answer this year

3rd pair may not play a lot, but they are expected to kill penalties. Same with the bottom 6, which lacks good PK as well.

Bryson came up as a tweener, not really a prospect. He's played like that. Don't need to evaluate him forever.
