When Biddington comes out of the net to check someone he's a player. Hit him; start a brawl; entertain the fans; and then he'll have it out of his system for a while. Non-violent people always complicate simple things. We violent folk are simple really. |

Just bc you think a player might help the defense doesn’t mean Adams feels the same way
These guys are getting waived for a reason after all - jdfitz77
Yeah I think I figured that out when he didn't claim him. |

Just having fun, really wanted to put Kulich where Olofsson is, but I know I am moving to fast. - Buff36

Think Murphy's contract is a bit long, but he would be a good partner for Power IMO. |

Murphy's contract length and age might be what pushes the cost to acquire him down.
If the price is too high, then for the reasons above, move on to another target. |

Trade Olo to The Wild to help their scoring...afterall he's on a 40G pace play 14:35.
Retain 50% to squeeze him on their roster, get Brock Faber back. |

Interesting - Buff36
If memory serves me right when Fiala trade rumors were going around it was said he is a jerk in the dressing room. Can't deny his on ice talent and I wanted the Sabres to go and get him. With 3 firsts and Fabers partner Johnson I think we could have competed with the Kings offer, 16 and Johnson is a small price price to pay for Fiala.
Guerin is slowly wrecking Minny.
As for Adams he has not made a significant trade since being the GM, the trade of Eichel was forced upon him and to his credit he held out to get the best deal. Lets face it, his usual line is we are talking to teams every day and you mean to tell me in the last 2 years you couldn't come to an agreement in one of those conversations to improve this team. I don't want a trade for the sake of a trade but dang this team needs some help on D and the bottom 6. Hammer me if you want but Reaves for a 5th gives the team some respect and he would score a few goals to boot. How about a 2nd and 3rd for Vanecek and a 2nd...where was Adams? Pacioretty at 7mil
(yes he is injured) plus a young D-man for nothing is better than Bishop at 5mil. The thinking is you get a young D and flip Pacs at the TDL if you are out of the playoff race nothing to lose but 2 mil.

I don't remember reading about Fiala being some kind of bumhole in the locker room. Where did you see or read that? |

A lot of talk was done on a few players here, Fiala included in the offseason by a few on here. Adams has his mind set on how he wants to build the Sabres. Lunaion brought up Isolationist approach which seems to fit at this time. We're at the point in the season where you see what is working and what isn't. He didn't even try to improve his D when it was basically free, well some money. Would it have worked, who knows but you tried, and maybe you get lucky. |

when an nhl goalie has decent stats, the d in front of him is decent
when the goalie has blah stats, the d in front of him stinks
matt murray is proving that this season

You said NHL goalie. We do have one of those. Unfortunate he tops out at 35 starts max, but he's good when he plays. Penalty kill ain't too shabby when he plays either.

Blues coach Craig Berube on Jordan Binnington's antics:
"It’s got to stop. It doesn’t help anything. Just play goal. Stop the puck.”
Binnington has lost his damn mind.
Also it’s nice to hear a coach actually call out a player. - ImThatGuy

the team stinks and when that happens the goalies stats take a dip
I mean this bad goalie shut out the oilers, saved 45 of 47 shots at colorado and stopped 34 of 36 in vegas
