goalies can be a weird animal, and St-Louis wants both to do well, so he's giving Allen the chance to bounce back, I get that. but if Jake doesn't start playing better soon you can't keep giving him the net like that, at some point it's just gonna become an unfair and stubborn move.

Even if I get what Saint-louis is doing, at some point that could have an impact on the confidence and the moral of the entire club. All that to get one guy going.

To be fair, Allen was excellent at the start of the season ... looks like a lack of focus recently. Sometimes the problem is between the goalie's ears.

But as you said, goalies are funny creatures and hard to decipher.
