Zak MacMillan: CBJ G20 — v New York Islanders — Quarter Mark/Happy Thanksgiving/Black Fri!

The Islanders are starting to roll, so I'm hoping the BlueJackets can keep it close. I can just be pretty sure the kids will get only 3rd-4th line TOI, Jenner and Nyquist will get close to, if not over, 20 min, along with Gaudreau, who has to drag them around.
It's just frustrating, and disappointing watching this team seem so rudderless, wasting the young speed and skill.

It's halfway though the game and tied 2-2, CBJ with two PP goals, maybe on the same power play (5 on 3 then 5 on 4).

It is hard not to be impressed by these players now. With 8 or 9 guys from Cleveland playing they are doing impressive work. And while I do not think Boone Jenner is a #1 Center in the NHL he is a great player and great captain. It also seems the defense is playing better, maybe by the time they play top teams again they can be competitive.

Love to see them get to NHL .500 by Christmas.
