Carol Schram: Trade winds blow as the Canucks kick off road trip against the Avalanche After letting another multi-goal slip away on Monday against Vegas, the Vancouver Canucks maintain the status quo as they kick off a three-game road trip in Denver on Wednesday.

Thanks Carol! Pettersson has definitely been the teams MVP so far this year. They’ll get rid of the fluff and build around him.

Cheers Carol, I bet the Dries line sees a heavy dose of MacKinnon tonight. I’m guessing the boys will be fired up, 8-7 Colorado.

7-1 Colorado, Makar destroys the Canucks.

Canucks don't give up any goals in the 1st, will be getting outshot 15-2 & Lefty will claim how well the Canucks are playing defensively.

He will then backtrack after Colorado starts scoring, saying how he meant, for the Canucks, they were playing good defensively and something about baby steps.

If they could get an amazing return for Pettersson, which they would, then sure…trade him. Just don’t see it happening.

Fastest defenseman in NHL history to 200 points. 195 games. I don’t know about you, but that surprises me.

Use QHughes/Demko/Pod/Lackermaki to dump the long term contracts and still get something of value back

It’s sad but true no matter what happens this season no one will be happy. If they trade it won’t be good. If they tank they won’t get the right draft pick. If they win it won’t be enough.

Stop with your outdated nonsense. He loves Vancouver but he wants the crybaby Miller and his slug followers moved out so he can win. You included!
