Bro i literally just wrote out the rule as its stated in the rulebook. By rule, from what the refs called on the ice, the goal should have counted. Its black and white, theres no guessing. They flat out got it wrong.

If they deemed the play goaltender interference(which they didnt) then it should have resulted in penalty.

I couldn't care less about the streak ending, the Devils are 16-4 on Thanksgiving and in first place in the Metro by a landslide right now. I'm actually incredibly stoked about how they played tonight, it was a lot better than some games they won during the streak. It just unfortunate to have a game clearly impacted by poor officiating.

Being a Leafs fan means making a big deal out of something mundane and making seem like winning the Cup, because that’s as good as it gets. This will probably be this year’s Cup for Toronto . They haven’t had any meaningful accomplishment in over 50 years. Go easy on them.
