Personally, I wouldn’t want any parent of Nylander. He has crazy talent, but lacks motivation in a town that goives nothing but motivation…In Arizona he could float for years..

What evidence is there that Nylander lacks motivation, while his other teammates are driven to win? This is a popular narrative among the media, but based on what?? As others said, Nylander led the team in goals from the slot. So he is going into dirty areas and finding the puck. His playoff stats are better than many others on the roster. So what's the evidence? Like he doesn't hit or play that physical, but the NHL is full of guys like that, including a number of others on the Leafs roster.
So would be great to see a legit argument rather than just copying the same old narrative. Over to you...
