Better lineup than yesterday. Dvorak line looks like a good 3rd line to start the season.

I had some of the pooptiest beers of all time in Italy, but at least one was 2.50 euros for 750ml at the bar. |

PBR.
Love that stuff! - pete26
Jordan Eberle’s favourite as well. We see him often in the summer here and he’s usually carrying a 24 pack of PBR. |

Nastro Azzurro tastes like a less pissy version of Corona. But yes, I had that by the pool and the Ionian Sea. Usually the cheapest on tap. |

Stick to Moretti in Italy. Peroni only if no Moretti. |

I went with the most affordable and mostly to wine which even a 3.99 euro wine is fine there. There was a place I went where the pizza was 6 euros and the beer was 17...wtf? |

Ya, I don't know why, I just can't get a taste for it.
One of our friends always brings over a bottle of Amarone which is not cheap.
Gimme a bottle of any cab from Napa over that stuff.. |

Amarone is way overpriced too.
In Spain and Portugal you get great wines for 4 euros a bottle. |

To each their own. Personally love Spanish Reds the most like Monastrell or Rioja. |

Portugal wines are my go to. Rarely get it wrong with a Douro. |

Portugal in general is a great place. Cheap, friendly, great weather. 95% of the population speaks English. Porto is ok but Lisbon and Sintra are where you should go if you can. They drink a lot of what they call Vinho Verde. I’m not a fan but you should try it. Like Bash said any Douro region is great. They don’t actually drink much Port but you can do tastings many places. Most Port gets exported.
Niepoort, Quinta do Crasto, and Quinta do Pôpa. Lots of good stuff. |

If in Lisbon definitely go to Sintra. It’s about a twenty minute train ride. Beautiful town and a couple great old castles to visit. ( the last stronghold of the knights Templar) |
