In think Tipett has a chance to contribute, yes, he did not crack the Panthers, some on him and some on the depth of the team, he surely has the skill set the Flyers lack. Now that he knows he has a real shot on a lesser team, lets see how that goes. No way a 1st next year is worth a thing, this is a 1 year sport

The return was always going to be a 1st and a B level prospect. The poster was told that repeatedly when he was claiming that the Flyers were going to get one of Newhook or Lundell.

However, in perspective, Tippett has a chance to contribute and there's also (a 2014) first-rounder that came back. It's not an awful return all considered.

It's what the return was always going to be. They weren't going to get a player like Newhook or Lundell.
