You can show yourself out now. Actually, the drum solo was one of the better parts of their set.

They just aren't aren't a "hard" sounding band like the others (Poison sounds way different live) so they felt out of place.

I couldn't help it.

Well yes, they can shelter players easily due to how good the top-line players are and their depth. And not saying JMFJ isn't what we all said...just that he obviously brings a value that you can't measure or calculate.

He's a likable guy.

Apparently he's a tremendous person. That's why Rutherford was so upset with his treatment in Pittsburgh.

Unfortunately, there's no denying he was horrible here. Guy played 82 games in his first season in Pittsburgh and the minute the coach had a healthy guy to replace him, he was scratched in the first playoff game.

Hey I just saw Joan Jett, Poison, Def Leppard, and Motley Crue last night. Aside from Def Leppard, they were all fantastic. Nothing wrong with 80s rock.

Also, I thought a Pittsburgh fan would appreciate the use of Renegade.

Styx is actually 70's rock...unless you count that insipid ballad in '81.
And I'm a Pittsburgh fan in hockey only so don't get the Renegade connection...Steelers related?

Yes, Renegade is the unofficial rallying cry of the Steelers. And it's a damn good song; I'd much rather hear than over Nickelback or the corpse of Green Day.

Yeah and his story is pretty crazy. Sad his parents were so (frank)ed up. Not his fault JR offered him what he did.

Honestly, it's hard not to feel good for him. You saw the ovation he got from his team when he picked up the cup.

Its not common for a guy to be that awful and still be loved by his teammates. Says a lot about him as a guy.

That dude got franked over by his own parents and lost a ton of money due to his parents' greed. Glad he got a Cup.

They usually save it for late/big defensive situations. The crowd goes crazy waving the towls. It's one of those cool scene's that makes sports fun.
