If the Wings pick Kemell i'm not going to be happy. Not because he's a bad prospect but because they don't need a winger. You forgot about Vrana on the right side and he's an NHL proven sniper. They need a center or LD so if the draft went the way you have it up to the Wings pick, they should pick Nazar/Kasper or one of the LD. Heck i would rather take a chance on Lambert over Kemell. I would also take Lekkerimaki before Kemell if i was going to take a winger. |

Interesting read, thanks!
If Miro is available at 16, I think the Sabres jump on him. He's been ranked in top 7, sometimes top 5 before the Russian factor and his health issue was disclosed. Now with his health issue "under control", there is way too much upside there to pass on.
Sabres need more finishers, not sure Kasper makes the most sense there.
Good stuff though! |

Nazar is the pick if the board falls the way it does in this mock imo. |

I would think so too. Only thing is i don't think the draft will go like this. Always one or two teams that reach or go off the board in the top 10 and one player that slides further than most predicted. Might be someone else there that ends up in the Wings lap...it's also possible Yzerman likes someone that people don't have going in the top 10 like Seider did.
I just hope we either get a good center or at least a good LD. |

I really would love for Savoie to fall to them. I’m much more concerned about center than LD. |

Geekie @ 10 would be outstanding. Z, McTavish and Geekie... oh yeah.. that works. |

Geekie looks like the most ideal guy on paper, and in his highlight (which he has a lot of)
The tough part is when you watch all his game, it can get frustrating. So much talent that doesn't get used as much as it should, none the less, Z, McTavish and Geekie would be an elite core |

The longer these kids are in Junior, the more these scouts pick their games apart. Aka Shane Wright.

Sources say Barry Trotz has decided NOT to immediately jump back into coaching. Trotz informed the Winnipeg Jets of his decision today and intends on continuing to focus on family. Trotz acknowledged how difficult the decision was to not accept the head coaching job in Winnipeg. |

If i were Barry i would have a hard time accepting the job too. Unrealistic expectations from hometown fans. His hometown star would only fade if he achieved anything less than championships.
Also - have you ever tried that beer? |

Thats not the issue for Trotz. He really made it seem like it was Jets or nowhere, and decided that he had more important family issues to take care of before coaching, and basically what he said was he needs a year off
Also, what beer are you asking about? |

Little Brown Jug brewery offered Trotz free beer for life if he agreed to sign with the Jets.
*(I haven’t tried it yet either, likely will sometime soon, no idea if its any good.)* |

I tried a LBJ wheat beer, Bavarian style (with a hint of banana of all things - bought a variety pack) and honestly it worked. Not a hoppy beer if that’s your thing but was good from cold to medium cold temp and then it was gone. I would buy it again.
The IPA was one of the better IPAs I’ve had too. |
