Rambo either has an invisible force field around him or his enemies are really bad shots. He has an insane ability to evade bullets while facing a whole army shooting automatic weapons at him.
That whole invincible 'Murican hero schtick always makes me laugh. |

and then they can't find the dentures, so Mike Tyson makes an appearance and donates his teeth to Rocky so he can bite his opponent's ear, which is his Achilles' heel. |

Sorry to hear that, I lost track after Rocky 3. RIP
The first Rocky was a good movie ... after that it was just Stallone and the studios extracting money from idiots. Now moronic superhero movies serve the same purpose. |

Isn’t this every show/movie ever made? It’s always amazing how thousands of henchmen and others get killed while the main good guy and main bad guy always escape free of harm until they meet in the face to face battle at the end. |

Indeed, action movies are so predictable. |

I think they stole that from the A-Team.
In all the episodes and all the gun shots I only ever recall B.A getting hit once, and that was a plot device.
(Not to mention cars being blown up and people walking away).
Zero consequence to mass violence.

Yeah, I mean most "pop" action films and tv shows.
Rambo is not exactly a pop-action film. It is actually a really good movie, with substance.
At least, the first one. |

I liked the first one too, it had an interesting revenge plot ... after that forget it, it was the traditional "invincible hero" crap that Hollywood is famous for. |
