it was a play on the claim of kadri acting.

The only way to get a franchise centre, or defencemen for that matter is through the draft. Or grossly overpay a UFA. First line centre for next ten years. Seems an easy choice.

I know. But do you expect Fido to come out and admit that he was wrong? I don't. He said he had no sympathy for kids dying in mass shooting anymore, so yeah. Probably doesn't care about Kadri either.

Yeah it’s the easter conf final and everyone plays dressed as the Easter bunny, there’s no puck, they use an Easter egg and on the third day an injured player comes back from the dead.

The question I have this morning is regarding Habs behaviour at the combine…

Habs are picking first so I don’t know what is their strategy by bringing a lot of confusion…

I am not saying that they should go out and announce their selection early June but all those stories of being strange and tough on kids, going to dinner with one but not the other, postponing departure of the GM to meet another prospect…

All this look fairly strange…

I am not sure that directed confusion would not be linked to a trade with Arizona…. Swap 1 and 3, Weber to the Yotes, Chichrun to the Habs, 2nd first rounder to the Yotes plus a prospect like Struble or else(not Ghule I hope…)

Habs may even pick the guy they want 3rd overall and pull a great deal…

Many are saying Habs would never trade their 1st overall because the draft is in Montreal but I am not so sure about that…

I think the strategy is to act unconventionally with the prospects on purpose, to see how they react to certain comments or situations. sounds like an effective way to evaluate an attribute such as maturity, which is probably difficult to gauge through the span of only 1 or 2 interviews.

Wonder who’s playing in the Christmas Conference finals..
