whether you lose because you were dominated physically by the opposing team, or because you took a bad penalty at the worse possible time, you're still losing. - Pat1993
I just believe that it is easier to make a guy more disciplined and smart(couple of years in AHL would be required) than having a soft player being gritty…. The guy is not ready for sure to play in NHL but he can bring a well required spice to the fruit salad!!!

I get what you're saying, and it's definitely possible for a young player to become more disciplined, but what's often missing for these gritty fellas is actual hockey skills and IQ, they have to be talented enough to keep up with the NHL pace. that being said I have no idea where Xhekaj is at in that regard.

Good skating, good shot, very mean in front of the net… very involved…
Was voted the OHL most difficult Dman to ply against…
But he is 20yo so….
Just watch the video I posted earlier |

meh, some goalies very rarely embellish anything, while others simply make it too obvious, I find Shesterkin falls in the latter category.

without point, they are weak in the middle of the ice and the right side of their D is pretty putrid. losing gourde, coleman and goodrow was huge. that line were very good at bum slaying. colton, paul and hagel have been invisible.
the trade the hawks made with TB is gonna turn out to be a great trade for the hawks. i see TB dropping into the teens starting next season. age is beginning to catch up to their big guns.
vasi hid a lot of flaws |

what does "dropping into the teens" mean, falling to a lower tier in the standings?

They are. They also aren't getting anything from Killorn and Palat, either. Add in Hedman just not being the dominant force he has been and their d-corp becomes very ordinary. |

The question I have this morning is regarding Habs behaviour at the combine…
Habs are picking first so I don’t know what is their strategy by bringing a lot of confusion…
I am not saying that they should go out and announce their selection early June but all those stories of being strange and tough on kids, going to dinner with one but not the other, postponing departure of the GM to meet another prospect…
All this look fairly strange…
I am not sure that directed confusion would not be linked to a trade with Arizona…. Swap 1 and 3, Weber to the Yotes, Chichrun to the Habs, 2nd first rounder to the Yotes plus a prospect like Struble or else(not Ghule I hope…)
Habs may even pick the guy they want 3rd overall and pull a great deal…
Many are saying Habs would never trade their 1st overall because the draft is in Montreal but I am not so sure about that…
Can’t wait draft day…. - TheInformer697041
It's all smoke and mirrors for when they draft Kent Hughes' son first overall. |

Their picks being somewhere in the late teens. Still squeaking into the playoffs and getting bounced in the 1st round. Leaving their pick in the 17-20 range.
look at the ages of their big guns. aside from kucherov, who will 29, and point, they all are in their 30's with a lot of miles on them |
