I thought Garland was better earlier in the season when he had a little more of that pesty edge to his game. He's seemed to have gotten away from it. Hopefully, the benching wakes this part of his game up as it's an element that's sorely needed in the lineup. Plus, I think it's why we acquired him in the first place.

Thank you Carol, great recap. I’m thinking 2nd in the division is going to be the sweet spot. Calgary finishing first means they’re going to have to play one of St.Louis, Nashville or Minnesota. That’s no easy task for a first round opponent.

Hopefully SpenMar can be our Husso next season. With bonus and buy out money already on the books for next season, we’re going to need a bargain in net as the backup.

Boudreau needs to understand that burying Garland in the bottom 6 for a time did not help matters. Needs to take a bit of responsibility there it aint all on Garland.

I disagree. He's had his chances up and down the lineup. Boudreau is old school so Garland's play is what dictates his ice time.

When it comes to hypotheticals, it kinda makes more sense to talk about someone who will ever be traded. This trade seems less likely than one for McDavid to happen imo.
